FRAXEL technology is the latest achievement in laser techniques used in dermatology. It can be applied to any body part which needs smoothing out and rejuvenation (face, neck, décolletage, arms, abdomen, buttocks, hands and even eye-lids). Laser light generates a stream of impulses with microscopic diameter, which are evenly scattered across the skin thanks to the scanning head. FRAXEL does not irradiate the skin’s surface uniformly, but „perforates” it with thousands of microscopic „needles”. The impulses permeate the skin at a proper distance in order not to accumulate the heating effect, and at the same time to stimulate dermis regeneration. Their thickness is precise and regulated across the whole treated surface. FRAXEL laser changes your skin’s structure deep under the epidermis (up to 2 mm) establishing unique conditions for absolute and permanent collagen and elastin regeneration. During the treatment laser bundle permeates the epidermis without damaging it. It acts as a dressing, so the skin does not need much time to regenerate.
The treatment is carried out upon application of an anaesthetic cream. Additionally, to improve your comfort, the skin is cooled with a special cooler. Directly after the treatment the skin is reddened and slightly swollen. This condition passes after 2-3 days. Next, the skin becomes more tight and feels very dry, therefore it is important to keep moisturizing it. The epidermis starts peeling off, but it does not peel in patches like after burning, but rather in the form of fine grains. IPL photorejuvenation

It is a rejuvenating treatment that involves light. It uses strong light with a proper wave length, which stimulates dermis cells to produce collagen. At the same time collagen fibres are shortened and reconstructed, while skin is better nourished and oxygenated. The treated area is irradiated with short light impulses which are perceived as a temporary burning sensation. After the treatment the skin is slightly reddened and epidermis may slightly peel off. For full effects the treatments should be repeated 2-5 times at 3-4 week intervals. The therapy can be applied at any age, also in young people as prevention.
